NOVEMBER 2008

The leaves, as well as the weather have started to change. The mild seventies have given way to the cool fifties with the night time temperature dropping into the thirties. I am glad that I made some preparation and cut some firewood this summer. One fellow told me that it is one source of heat that you get hot cutting it and hot when you burn it. All I know is that I certainly enjoy setting in front of that wood stove when it’s cold outside! Glenda and I were able to spend a few days out west this past month. I closed out a meeting outside Kansas City Missouri and we drove out through the Badlands and on to Mount Rushmore. We got there about the same time the snow did!
